Robert Barclay

Our Founder and Chairman, Robert set up Fox Feeds in 1982. He had previously worked in engineering, as a photographer, and was in the TA. Robert is still actively involved in the business, and when he is not at work enjoys traveling with his wife, Sue, riding, breaking his Suffolk punch horse Percy to harness and woodworking.

Freddie Barclay

Having always been involved with the business while growing up, Freddie joined Fox Feeds full time in 2022 as a Director.

Freddie looks after the forage drying side of the business as well as leading the engineering development work, building new machines and processes, and is involved with general management.

Freddie studied for a Masters in engineering at Durham University, then spent 5 years as an operations and robotics consultant helping build and optimise factories and processes across the U.K.

Freddie loves sailing, riding, travelling and Land Rovers.

Mark Watson

Mark started in 1999 as a harvest student making HorseHage, while studying Agriculture at the Scottish Agricultural College in Aberdeen. He is now our Operations Director, responsible for overseeing the Horsehage and Mill production sites, Farming operations and Financial Management.

Mark worked his way up through the company, and before his current role he has managed the Drying Plant, Managed the Horsehage production, and then took over as General Manager in 2015

Out of work, Mark his wife Lin and their two children enjoy showing their Ponies, with Mark leading their daughter in lead rein classes.

Olivia Colton – Quality Manager

Olivia joined the team in 2018 as our Quality and Business Development Manager. With an equine background, she attained an MSc in Equine Science specialising in nutrition from Writtle College, then went on to work for a supplement company for 4 years.

Olivia is responsible for adherence to our Quality Assurance schemes, raw material purchasing and is the main point of call for our contract manufacture customers.

Out of work, she enjoys gundog training her spaniels, riding her horses and looking after her smallholding.

Rafal Szczepaniak – Dryer Manager

Meet Rafal, our Dryer Manager. Rafal first came to Fox Feeds in 2002 to help in the HorseHage shed! He starting working in our Drying plant in 2004, and a year later took over running the Dryers. He has a Masters of Engineering in AgriBusiness, having studied Agriculture at Lubin University, Poland.

His hobbies are watching speedway and go karting.

Gary Law – Agricultural Manager

Gary started working at Fox feeds in 2022 as our Agricultural Manager, focusing primarily on field maintenance and HorseHage production. Gary started farm work at 13 years old, and ran his own agricultural contracting business for 11 years, including a lot of grass maintenance and haylage making. Having been brought up with horses, he knows how important it is to ensure every bale produced is the best possible quality.

Gary’s hobbies included collecting vintage and classic tractors, dirt bikes, diggers – basically anything fun to do with engines!

Sebastian Stasiak – Mill Manager

Sebastain is our Production Manager, having joined the company in 2010 as a Press Operative. It is his job to keep the Mill running smoothly, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment, and managing the production team.

Prior to working for Fox Feeds, Sebastian had gained a lot of hand on experience with machinery and production work, allowing him to flourish in the role here.

In his spare time, Sebastian enjoys playing and watching football, and traveling to new places.

Andy Collins – Warehouse Manager

Andy started work in December 2011 as a Machine Operator, and now manages the warehouse at our Tile Kiln feed mill.
His role involves keeping a clean and organised warehouse, preparing stock for collections and deliveries, and loading and unloading of goods.

Andy has a keen interest in history and is an enthusiastic metal detectorist and spends a lot of his spare time searching the fields for traces of history and treasure.

Vasy Labont – HorseHage Packing Plant Manager

Vasy studied Agriculture, and came from his home country of Romania in 2010 to work packing HorseHage. Since 2022 he has run the HorseHage production line every summer, and is now a full-time staff member, with various responsibilities including driving forklifts, lorries and tractors.

He enjoys going home to spend time with his young family, likes driving, tree felling, and off-road bikes.

Cristina Arseni – Finance and HR Manager

A vital part of our Accounts department, Cristina joined Fox Feeds in 2023, with previous experience in accounting and exports.
She is responsible for day-to-day finances, purchase ledger, HR functions and, perhaps most importantly payroll! She is currently part way through her AAT qualification.
Cristina is a keen gardener and loves tending to her flowers, and visiting historical houses around England.

Lin Watson – Sales Ledger Manager

Lin has been a core member of the team since joining Fox Feeds in 2008, having previously been a legal secretary, she also groomed for Katie Jerram for a summer. She manages sales invoices, organises all export paperwork and is responsible for production scheduling and finished stock management.

Lin grew up surrounded by horses, with her family, breeding and showing Welsh ponies and cobs. Most weekends over the summer, Lin and Mark can be found showing with their daughter Darcey and her section A pony.

Jenneka Cole – Office Administrator

Jen has been working in the office since 2021. Working as an office administrator, Jen will normally be the one taking initial phone calls to the company. She supports the transport department with scheduling deliveries and collections, handles day-to-day admin tasks and office operations, and works on the HorseHage & Mollichaff stand at events.

When not working, she can normally be found at her yard, looking after her Welsh Section A ponies, that she breeds, shows, and drives. She is also the Spring Show secretary for the local Welsh Pony and Cob association.

Mark Selwood – Transport Manager

Mark started at Fox Feeds in April 2000 as an H.G.V driver. His current title is Transport Manager; he is responsible for delivering our products and keeping our trucks running day to day.

Prior to his role here, Mark was a qualified engineer, then owned his own transport business for many years. Mark likes cycling on his e-bike, walking, and spending time with his family.

Michael Barwicki – HGV Driver

Originally from Poland, Michael started working as a farm and transport assistant in 2007, having years of experience in transport and machinery handling.

He is now one of our main HGV drivers, responsible for deliveries and loading support, and occasionally asked to drive a tractor during very busy harvest periods.

His main hobbies are photography, especially of motor sport, and car tuning.
