Walking the fields is a very important job prior to and during harvest.
It allows us to check that crops are clean and healthy, and monitor growth stage to ensure we harvest at the optimal time.
It also means that we are able to identify anything that shouldn’t be in the crop, so we are able to remove debris from trees/hedges, and mark out any hazards that the machinery drivers may not be able to see clearly from their cabs.
An added bonus- the office dogs love to be out and about helping us!
