In-house animal feed contract manufacturing
At Fox Feeds, we have a custom-built chaff manufacturing plant designed to create products that meet your specific requirements. We are able to pack chaff products as well as create blends of short, chopped fibres with various other ingredients to suit your needs.
We provide this service for over 25 contract manufacture customers and have helped start-up companies go from selling a few bags from their garage to becoming one of the most popular chaff products in the UK.
Come to us with a formulation or idea and we will tell you if it’s possible! From there, we run product trials to ensure you are happy with your feed. We grow, harvest and dry the green crops at our dehydration plant only 4 miles away, and all other ingredients are sourced from accredited manufacturers. Once the formulation is finalised, we can help you source branded packaging, or provide it in plain bales/bags, with statutory declarations printed on.
We offer a variety of different packaging formats, including bales and loose fill bags. All products can be delivered across the country or internationally with our own vehicles or organised haulage. We can also offer stock holding in our purpose-built warehouse facility.
From development to launch and beyond, you have full support from all of our staff members, providing a helpful, easy service to organise production and collection/delivery. Blending natural fibre feeds tailored to your requirements
We grow and process various grasses, legumes and oat straw, and are able to blend a combination of these as required.
With over 40 different ingredients available, we can help you create the feed you want. We are also able to use your own blends, or source non-stock items if required.
We maintain stock of raw materials, including: linseed, rapeseed and soya oil, molasses, various fibre pellets, herbs, botanicals and flavourings.
